CONSTANTINE VASSILIADIS, PHD
SENIOR BUSINESS CONSULTANT, TRUECONOMY
Dr. Constantine Vassiliadis is the lead researcher from TruEconomy Consulting working with professor David Simchi-Levi on the Joint MIT/TruEconomy research on ‘Supply Chain Management and the Executive Agenda’. Prior to this Dr. Vassiliadis worked with Simchi-Levi on the joint MIT/TruEconomy research project ‘A Research into European Supply Chains 2008-2009’ which gained insight in key trends, challenges and opportunities for supply chain management.
Dr. Vassiliadis holds a PhD in Process Systems Engineering (Supply Chain Optimization under Uncertainty) from Imperial College, London and a Masters Degree (MEng)in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. When he finished his PhD in 1999 he joined i2 Technologies.
In 2003 he went back to Greece to do his military service. Since 2004 Dr. Vassiliadis has been with TruEconomy Consulting. During the past decade he has worked as a solution architect on numerous multi-million euro supply chain initiatives at various companies across different industries. He knows how to combine thought leadership with practice.
