Participation in the current MIT/TruEconomy research project
The 2009-2010 MIT/TruEconomy research is being conducted to understand the interactions between supply chain management and the agenda of CEOs and CFOs. If supply chain management is on the agenda of today’s business leaders, what specifically is included: risk management, visibility, cost control, customer service, working capital, new channels, new markets or any other initiatives?
The objective of the study is to ultimately identify a framework that links the firm's value proposition to its supply chain strategy. After literature studies and after the establishment of the research framework (assurance of the business relevance in combination with the academic significance), hypotheses were developed and tested with the business community. This resulted in a survey created to support this research. Therefore we would like to invite you to participate in our survey.
By participating in the survey you receive an executive summary of the research findings and, optionally, a tailored research report benchmarking your company to the industry specific responses and the overall results.
Survey details and instructions
The survey consists of 3 sections: a supply chain management section for the supply chain executive, a business strategy section for the CEO or head of business unit, and a business performance section for the CFO. Each section is independent and does not take more than 10 minutes to complete.
We kindly ask you to complete your section and forward this email to the two appropriate executives within your company to complete the remaining sections.
Please note that your company or personal details will not be linked to any results or deliverables.
In the event this survey is not applicable to you, we would ask you to kindly forward this invitation to the appropriate executives within your company.
