i2 announces termination of the merger with JDA
December 5th, 2008 - i2 Technologies states in their press release that "JDA has not provided consent to disclosure of any discussions between the parties". Earlier, at November 4, i2 received a request from JDA to adjourn the special meeting of shareholders to allow the two companies to negotiate a reduced purchase price to close the merger. In its request, JDA stated that "available credit terms would result in unacceptable risks and costs to the combined company."
