Job description
To further expand our competence center in Athens, TruEconomy is looking for an experienced individual to cover the role of Java Developer Websphere Applications. This role would be well suited to an ambitious individual with proven experience. The essential requirements are over one year experience with Java programming, IBM WebSphere Application Server 6 (WAS) and Eclipse.
Your responsibilities
The holder of this position will be expected to work closely with client teams in order to support their everyday production operations as well as provide on-demand support and development. As developments in this area are moving forward rapidly, the candidate must be eager to learn and be motivated for continuous professional development.
Part of this role is a thorough training for you in the solutions that we currently support for our clients.
Required experience
Required to have experience with Java programming (J2EE, JDK SE + EE + specific 1.5 features such as generics, varargs, autoboxing, static imports, enums, enhance for-loop, etc).
The preferred candidate would also have experience with:
• SpringFramework (almost all features made available through the SpringFramework 2.5.x)
• Eclipse
• Tomcat 5.x
• IBM WebSphere Application Server 6 (WAS): upload, deploy and configuration of EAR files in a clustered environment
• Java: JSP (+2.0 specifics: from standard scriptlets to custom taglibs, tags and functions),Servlets, Applets),JDBC, JMS, transaction management op appservers (e.g. JTA, but also local tx management)
- dependency injection
- declarative & programmatic tx management
- scheduling (in RAM and clustered using persistent database)
• MVC models: Struts1, Spring, Spring-MVC
• Hibernate ORM
• Oracle 10g: tables, view, synonyms, sequences; SQL for Oracle 10g; PL/SQL: stored procedures, database functions
• UltraEdit (text editor), CVS (versioning), Toad (db tool)

SUPPORT ANALYST DATA STAGING SOLUTIONS

To further expand our competence center in Athens, TruEconomy is looking for a Support Analyst Data Staging Solutions. This role requires an experienced individual with relevant employment history. The essential requirements are strong technical/IT background and an interest in Supply Chain Management solutions.
Your responsibilities
The aim of the support analyst data staging solutions is to advise and support (key) users and to (pro-actively) maintain different data staging solutions, including applications and interfaces. He or she will also identify areas for improvement and participate in improvement projects.
The most important responsibilities of the support analyst data staging solutions are:
• Day-to-day operational support to key(users) and other support teams
• Providing ad-hoc workarounds or structural corrections for system failures
• Improving the systems to prevent future functional failures or to enable their better use
• Supporting IT projects
• Supporting projects in set-up and transition phases
Required experience
The following skills and experience are critical for success in this role:
• The support analyst must have expertise in data management, IBM mainframe (PL-1, Conditional JCL, Assembler, EBCDIC, CICS, IDEAL, DATACOM DBMS, MVS TSO, VSAM etc.) and oracle database (PL-SQL, views, stored procedures and oracle dataloader).
• Furthermore the analyst requires proficiency in HP-UX / Korn shell navigation and understanding of Perl scripting.
• JAVA experience would be a strong advantage for the analyst.

This role would be well suited to articulate and ambitious individuals with relevant employment history. The essential requirements are strong technical/IT background and an interest in Supply Chain Management solutions. Part of this role is a thorough training for you in the SCM solutions that we support for our clients.
Your responsibilities
The holder of this position will be expected to work closely with client teams in order to support their everyday production operations as well as provide on-demand functional support on related issues. The SCM support analyst will advise and support (key) users and (pro-actively) support several applications and interfaces. He or she will also work in identifying areas for improvement and participate in client improvement projects.
The most important responsibilities of the SCM support analyst are:
• Day-to-day operational support to key(users) and other support teams
• Providing ad-hoc work-arounds or structural corrections for functional system failures
• Improving applications to prevent future functional failures or to enable their better use
• User administration and authorizations
• Daily reporting to (key) users on application and system status
• Supporting IT projects
• Supporting projects in set-up and transition (change coordination) phases
Required experience
Ideally candidates will have had exposure to SCM and/or Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) software, such as JDA/i2 Technologies, SAP APO and/or Oracle e-Business Suite - ASCP.
A certain level of technical experience and skills is required, in areas such as database knowledge (SQL/Storage Procedures), familiarity and comfort working in a UNIX environment, scripting expertise (UNIX, Java, Perl, etc.), Application Servers, ETL tools (such as Informatica), reporting tools (like Crystal Reports) for this role.
